The Civil Engineering Department offers a Diploma in Civil Engineering. The course curriculum covers both traditional concepts and recent developments. A strong foundation is laid through courses on Concrete and Steel Structures, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Irrigation Engineering and Computer Application. Beside, students are offered a variety of electives like Advance Engineering, Properties of Soil, Computer Simulation, Rock Mechanics, Ecology and Operations Research. The theoretical courses are supplemented by imparting practical experience through well-equipped laboratories.

Vision- The Department aims to impart high quality education to the students. The Civil engineering program is designed to provide its students a solid educational foundation on which they can grow and shape a better and sustainable career in Civil engineering or in a related field.
